Union at The University<\/li>\n<li>Representative from The Student Union at The University<\/li>\n<li>Representative from The Administrators at The University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>The responsibilities of the council include:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Contributing to connecting the university to societal issues and addressing social problems within the university&#8217;s scope.<\/li>\n<li>Proposing plans and general programs for developing education at the university.<\/li>\n<li>Approving donations, aids, gifts, and endowments.<\/li>\n<li>Approving honorary degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Proposing awards for academic excellence for professors, students, faculties, and scientific departments at the university.<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to maintaining the university&#8217;s reputation, supporting its status, and proposing preventive plans to preserve societal values and prevent destructive phenomena.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>The tasks the council include:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Drawing up the general policy that the university operates under, to achieve its purposes within the framework of the state&#8217;s general objectives and the policies set by the relevant authorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Managing the<strong>\u00a0university affairs, especially the following:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing the university&#8217;s funds, investments, and dispositions in accordance with the prevailing legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Authorizing the university president or their representative to carry out certain legal actions within their jurisdiction.<\/li>\n<li>Supervising the general system in the university faculties, scientific departments, research centers, and technical institutes affiliated with it.<\/li>\n<li>Approving the university&#8217;s budget and final account and referring them to the relevant authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Proposing the establishment of faculties at the university.<\/li>\n<li>Approving the establishment of scientific and administrative departments at the university based on the proposals of Faculty deans and affiliated departments.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Proposing the appointment, promotion, transfer, secondment, and loan of faculty members, subject to the approval of the relevant faculty and in accordance with the prevailing legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Approving the use of non-full-time faculty members (cooperative) in accordance with the prevailing legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Accrediting study plans at the university.<\/li>\n<li>Approving the internal regulations of faculties, scientific departments, the consultancy office, research centers, and scientific studies in accordance with the relevant legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Supervising the construction and maintenance of university facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Granting academic degrees and other certificates and proposing honorary degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Organizing the admission of students to faculties and scientific departments in coordination with the relevant authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Granting sabbatical leave for faculty members inside the country in accordance with the regulations and rules in place.<\/li>\n<li>Establishing systems for various types of financial rewards and grants, in compliance with the prevailing legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Inviting visiting professors and examiners and disbursing financial rewards according to the applicable regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row bg_type=&#8221;&#8221;
