The goal is to ensure that women attain their rightful position in society and serve as exemplary models of leadership at the local, regional, and international levels. The office works to raise awareness about the importance of women&#8217;s involvement, encourages women to take leadership roles, and supports their career development by aligning training programmes with labour market needs, ultimately improving employment mechanisms to elevate their contributions to economic and social development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives of the Women\u2019s Empowerment and Advocacy Office<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The primary aim of the Women\u2019s Empowerment and Advocacy Office is to promote the status and role of women within the university by fostering an inclusive educational and social environment. The Office seeks to empower women to participate actively in academic and community life, helping them realise their full academic and professional potential.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Promote women\u2019s leadership<\/strong> by encouraging their involvement in decision-making processes and supporting their contribution to sustainable development across various fields.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Raise awareness of women\u2019s rights<\/strong> and strengthen the principle of gender equality within the university and the broader community.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Provide comprehensive support for women<\/strong>, including academic, social, and psychological assistance, to help them thrive in the university setting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Encourage active participation of women in university life<\/strong>, particularly through engagement in student and community-based initiatives.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Support scientific research and innovation<\/strong> on issues relevant to women, and empower female researchers working in these fields.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Offer workshops, training programmes, and educational opportunities<\/strong> to build women&#8217;s academic and professional skills.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collaborate with relevant governmental bodies and civil society organisations<\/strong> to enhance support for women both on campus and in the surrounding community.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Key Initiatives and Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To achieve these objectives, the Office undertakes a range of initiatives, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Creating an interactive online platform<\/strong> for communication with female students and staff, providing guidance and support through digital services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Delivering training courses and workshops<\/strong> in areas such as leadership, strategic planning, communication, and creative thinking, to strengthen the skills and confidence of women in the university.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Launching awareness and media campaigns<\/strong> focused on gender issues, with the aim of promoting women\u2019s active and effective engagement in academic and public life, and fostering a positive influence on both the university and the wider community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row bg_type=&#8221;&#8221;
