Preamble:
This era witnessed a technical breakthrough, a wide information openness and a qualitative shift in the field of communication technology, in mobile phone software, and in electronics that touched many fields, and opened new horizons and profound changes in various aspects of human life, cultural, intellectual and social life, and led to a small change In the social fabric and the building of relationships, the criteria on the basis of which the strength of these relationships has been measured and their viability have changed, and many concepts and roles have changed, and they no longer play a role in transferring and sending information only, but rather have many cultural and social repercussions. One of the modern communication technology is the Internet, which has begun to evolve and spread as individuals seek to satisfy their needs, and to face the increasing contemporary pressures of life. All fields are numerous attempts to understand and explain the complexities of the social phenomenon, which accompanied these transformations highlighting the role of technology in drawing facts in its current form, especially those related to the field of interaction between individuals and social communication with all its spaces and extensions, at the level of physical or virtual reality; Social media has become an essential part of people's lives, and it has played a role in bringing people who are geographically separated, and has made the world appear to be a small village in terms of ease of communication and exchange of information and experiences, and at the same time imposed a pattern and new data in people's lives that contributed to opening the field in a way Greater for expression, criticism, rejection and support, and for the sake of giving greetings or for linking relationships, acquaintance and scientific or recreational communication through joking or even mocking the formation of cells or groups of isolation in the hypothetical world that was a substitute for reality, which provided what the inability of reality burdened by contradictions or fear and security failed for them.
The acquaintance between humans is a divine year, but individuals must adhere to the ethics and ethics of communication as a result of friction, interaction at the level of social networking sites, and try to show the use that he is permanently present in the Internet, which leads to the fabrication of a hypothetical personality other than his personality. Watching and crafting scenarios, or fictional (virtual) worlds that some consider to be an alternative to real reality.
New media and communication technology occupies a place in societies, but what is worth noting is that it is a double-edged sword as it is on the one hand approximating the geographically separated in terms of eliminating the obstacles of time and space, and raises the degree of their interaction, but at the same time it is considered a real danger to family social relations How many happy home full of warmth and tenderness, destroyed by modern means of communication, using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram And preoccupation with these sites causes turmoil in marital life, and may create a kind of suspicion, problems between them, lack of interest in the home and neglect of home and family affairs, to the point that if not transferred it became a tool for destroying family life as a result of the excessive use of it, so visits between relatives declined and declined even on occasions as attendance Marriage parties, or upon the birth of a new child, parents ’blessing, whether upon returning from the Sacred House of God, or sharing their joy in academic success, or offering condolences. All that apathy that afflicts the marital relationship or even family, our homes have become mere hotels, and little is what everyone looks for He replied to the rest of its members.
It is unfortunate that our virtual world becomes an alternative to social interaction with relatives and comrades, and it is the individual who spends long hours on these means, and if something indicates the change taking place in the system of social values of individuals where individual values overwhelm what is all social, which is reinforced by the use Its excessive.
As for children, they have become strangely and surprisingly attached to these means to the point of what amounts to addiction, and if we do not exaggerate if we say that it reaches real addiction, we see them spend most of his day sitting on these devices despite their need for food and drink, and the practice of religious rites to other than That is one of the requirements of life, and they devote themselves to the point of feeling depressed and addicted.
On the scientific level, the information revolution has caused human knowledge to multiply and accumulate very quickly, especially scientific and technological knowledge, and globalization has led to dropping the barriers of distance and time, and technological progress has become the crucial link for achieving scientific progress, especially scientific research, so scientists and university professors from countries will be able Developed, and even researchers from developing countries, benefit from data and information banks, and access to advanced modern research from them, but among the negatives of the virtual world, some learners are satisfied with what is digital, and ignore the paper book, the challenge facing educational institutions in this era is due to an exaggerated sense of importance Digitality is often caused by learners' fascination with it, and the false assumption that progress only comes through dealing with these technologies.
Hence, there has become a difficult equation that needs to change the educational systems and the teaching strategy in order for us to achieve the goals of education. One of the most important things we need to achieve this change is to follow the self-learning method as it moves the educational process from the realm of immobility and theory to the realm of vitality and application, and provides the opportunity for the student to take his full role as a hub for the educational process and interact with it through a virtual learning environment and the multimedia it contains an effective alternative to research verbal presentations.
The reality of the situation, and by talking about the role of the virtual world, which imposed itself strongly on man and its relations through electronic networks, we find ourselves in front of a real problem, centered on the reason for our drive and our tendency to an unknown world, which is called "the virtual world."
Hence the importance of thinking in this book, in order to present a scientific, multidisciplinary perception based on the recognition of the signs of the reflection of the digital world on the life of the individual in various fields.
