The Ambassador of the United Kingdom – Libya – visits the university and meets with its officials.

The British Ambassador informed the audience that this visit is the first of its kind to the Fezzan region. It comes among the main priorities of his work in order to link the bonds of cooperation, And knowing the general conditions through the living reality of the Fezzan region, To help support stability, The British Ambassador also praised the role played by Sebha University in serving local community issues. Its great contribution to advancing construction and development in the region and Fezzan in general, and its role in building reliable youth groups in the future
His Excellency the Ambassador also extended his thanks and appreciation to all attendees in general. Sebha University is especially grateful for the warm reception. and hospitality, To reinforce at the same time his complete confidence that the academic elite of the university, And its effective contribution to building Fezzan in particular, There is no doubt about Libya in general.
The Acting President of the University began his speech by presenting an overview of Sebha University, its colleges, and its field of specializations in general. A number of attendees were also listened to and their interventions about the university and what it is doing, out of interest in the educational process and scientific activities that abound, all of this within the vision of this ancient institution represented in leadership in education, scientific research, community service and the environment.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the University presented a memorial shield. And some gifts for the British Ambassador and the visiting delegation. Immediately after completing this meeting, The British Ambassador visited the Language Center, accompanied by the Acting President of the University, the Director of the Language Center, and the Director of the International Cooperation Office at the University, in order to learn about the potential of this great scientific edifice in the field of language education for groups of society in general.
