The Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies is hosting a focus group meeting for the ARMONIA project under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a joint competitive project between the Libyan Academy and the International Cooperation Office. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Union of Mediterranean Universities (UNIMED) and several Libyan partner universities. This meeting is part of the implementation of the ARMONIA project for the harmonization of curricula with ECTS accreditation, which will raise the quality of higher education through the use of educational systems used within European universities.
ECTS is a system designed to facilitate the movement of students between different countries. Because this system measures students’ educational achievements as well as their workload, the system Students can easily transfer their points earned from one university to another university in all countries operating in the system.
This project is an effective participation of higher education and scientific research institutions in partnership and capacity building projects in competitive projects of the European Commission for Education and Culture (ECEC). in the European Union.
On the sidelines of this meeting, two workshops will be held on Wednesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 11, 2024. In the presence of the directors of international cooperation offices as local project coordinators. and some officials at Libyan universities. and the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies.
