In an important step towards strengthening international academic cooperation and developing medical education programs, signed a memorandum of understanding with Ludwigshafen University on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the university’s headquarters in Ludwigshafen, in the Federal Republic of Germany.
The official Sebha University delegation was led by Dr. Masoud Al-Raqeeq. University’s president, He was accompanied by Dr. Saleh Al-Menouni , Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Professor Mohamed Ahmed Mahrez , Director of the University’s International Cooperation Office.
This memorandum reflects the commitment of the two universities to strengthen the academic partnership in the fields of nursing, midwifery, and childbirth. It includes cooperation in a number of key areas, most notably the exchange of academic expertise, the development of jointly supervised postgraduate programs, distance education programs in modern midwifery techniques, and the organization of mutual scientific visits between faculty and students.
The Libyan delegation was received by the president of Ludwigshafen University, the head of the master’s studies in medical sciences,, where extensive discussions were held on the prospects of cooperation and its implementation mechanisms during the next phase.
This step reflects Sebha University’s vision to open up to international experiences and develop its academic programs to meet international standards, thus contributing to raising the quality of education and health services in the region
