The second cycle of research grants is directed to Libyan male and female students pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree
Within the framework of the project “Young research in the humanities and social sciences: A tool for development in Libya“ The Institute for Contemporary Maghreb Research launches the second round of research grants directed to Libyan male and female students who are enrolled in a master’s or doctoral degree at one of the Libyan universities in the field of humanities and social sciences for the contemporary period and are in the process of preparing the dissertation. Priority is given to the following specializations: history, geography, sociology, and political science.
- The duration of the scholarship extends from 1 month to 3 months and is completed at the Institute for Contemporary Maghreb Research.
- The value of the grant is 915 euros per month . Completion of the grant cannot exceed December 15, 2021.
- The maximum age for nomination is 35 years .
- The recipient of the scholarship shall bear all travel, accommodation, insurance, and all other necessary expenses.
- The committee applies the principle of equal opportunities between male and female candidates when allocating grants.
