The project aims to strengthen Libya\u2019s capacity to understand, study, and manage challenges related to migration by developing the role and capabilities of Libyan higher education institutions in this field.<\/p>\n<p>The HGRA project brings together a number of Libyan universities and European partners with the aim of strengthening academic cooperation, and the exchange of knowledge, And building institutional capacity in the field of migration studies. The project also supports the development of research capabilities, and improving academic programs, and establishing effective mechanisms for cooperation among universities, and research institutions, and decision-makers, and relevant parties. <strong>The University of Sabha<\/strong> is one of the Libyan partner institutions in the project, Along with a number of other Libyan universities, In cooperation with European partners including <strong>the Union of Mediterranean Universities<\/strong> <strong>(UNIMED)<\/strong> , <strong>Sapienza University of Rome<\/strong> <strong>,<\/strong> and the <strong>University of Barcelona<\/strong> <strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project focuses on a number of key areas, These include the establishment of a specialized migration observatory to collect and analyze data related to migration, and developing a platform for Libyan policies on migration issues to support evidence-based recommendations, and the design of specialized training modules, And the creation of educational programs related to migration and development. Through these activities, The HGRA project helps to enhance academic expertise, and to support the development of more effective policies, And to strengthen the capacity of Libyan institutions to address migration challenges in a sustainable and comprehensive manner.<\/p>\n<p>Through training activities, and research initiatives, and international partnerships, The HGRA project works to promote long-term knowledge transfer, And to support the contribution of Libyan universities to addressing one of the most prominent contemporary regional issues.
