As an extension of its journey in disseminating knowledge, the University of Sebha is launching the ninth edition of its annual Conference on Science and Technology.
set to be a scientific platform attracting research and academic elites from both within and outside Libya.
This ninth edition of the conference serves as a culmination of research and scientific efforts, aligning with the University's pioneering role in generating and disseminating knowledge. It seeks to create a stimulating environment for constructive dialogue, experience exchange, and the presentation of the latest innovations and research findings across various scientific and technical fields. The ultimate goal is to contribute to solving local and global problems and to drive the wheel of sustainable development.

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support

The Scientific Committee welcomes research papers on the mentioned topics, as well as any original research that contributes to providing innovative technical solutions to contemporary societal issues.

Researchers' names should not be written in the paper submitted for review; authors' names are added later after paper acceptance (added in the final paper).

Protocol for the Use of Artificial Intelligence and its Tools
Transparency and Disclosure
The researcher must explicitly disclose in the "Methodology" section or the "Acknowledgements" section any AI tool used (such as: ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, etc.) and the purpose of its use (e.g., text editing, idea generation, data analysis, etc.).
Responsibility
The researcher remains solely responsible for the content of the submitted research, including any outputs generated with the assistance of AI tools. They are responsible for the accuracy of information and results, and for ensuring it is free from plagiarism.
Human Verification
The researcher must meticulously verify the accuracy and appropriateness of any content, data, or conclusions generated by AI, as these tools may produce inaccurate or misleading information.
Prohibition of Use in Sensitive Sections
The use of AI tools to generate or analyze primary research data in experimental studies is strictly prohibited, unless this is the research topic itself and is fully clarified.
o AI use is prohibited for writing the "Discussion" and "Conclusions" sections, as these sections must reflect the critical thinking and personal analysis of the researcher.
Plagiarism
Reliance on completely AI-generated text without substantial editorial or intellectual effort from the researcher, and presenting it as one's own writing, constitutes a form of academic plagiarism and will lead to the rejection of the paper. 20% of AI-generated text is permitted.

Main Conference Hall - Sebha University
The conference is held at the Language Center of Sebha University, which is one of the largest and most important centers at the university in terms of infrastructure and modern equipment.
The center includes a large main auditorium accommodating approximately 500 seats, equipped with modern sound, lighting, and display systems that meet the requirements of conferences and scientific seminars. The center also has a number of supporting halls and integrated service facilities that ensure providing a suitable environment to receive participants and researchers.

The conference in its previous editions has obtained accreditation from the Libyan Scientific Research Authority, as well as from the Libyan Electronic Journals Guide, and has been archived and indexed in Google Scholar database to ensure its academic reach and dissemination.

Certification
Researchers will be awarded participation certificates accredited by the Organizing Committee (subject to presenting the paper either in person or virtually).
Conference Kit
Participants will receive a conference kit containing the Book of Abstracts and necessary stationery.

Transportation
Provision of transportation for participants from the airport to the accommodation, and from the accommodation to the conference venue (and vice versa).
Virtual Participation
Participation via Google Meet is available for participants who are unable to attend the conference venue in person..
Tourism Excursion
An optional tourist trip to Gaberoun Lake will be organized on the sidelines of the conference for interested participants. (Note: The cost will be determined later and is to be paid by the participant.)
