Mr. Abdullah Batili, the UN envoy for support in Libya, expressed his great pleasure at visiting the Libyan south and being in Sebha city. Adding that one of the reasons for his happiness and joy is his presence in the campus of Sebha University, because he is proud of his belonging to the University community; He has spent more than four decades teaching at the University of Dakar, Senegal, And in other African and international universities, he extended his greetings and appreciation to the University’s family of students, professors and Employees. On the sidelines of his official visit to the city of Sebha, Mr. Batili met with the mayors of the southern municipalities and academics, the elders of tribes, notables of the region, civil society organizations, and he also met inside the hallway of the university’s administrative building with the president of the university, some of its Teachers, and members of the Academics Forum for Building a Civil State. During the meeting, words of thanks and welcoming were exchanged.
