Sebha University Nursing Students Gain Hands-On Experience in Dialysis
Third-year students from the Faculty of Nursing at Sebha University visited the Sebha Dialysis Centre on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, to observe and learn about dialysis procedures. The visit is part of the university’s commitment to linking academic study with practical clinical experience.
The students were accompanied by senior university officials, including Dr Saleh Al-Manouni, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Mr Hashem Baheej, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs; and Mr Saad Hamida, Head of the Department of Nursing Science. A group of high-achieving first-year students also joined, encouraging engagement and fostering a culture of learning.
Purpose of the Visit
• To familiarise students with the latest technologies and equipment used in dialysis treatment
• To allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical, clinical setting
• To introduce new students to the clinical environment, supporting their professional development and excellence in nursing
The visit is part of a programme of regular field trips to medical institutions, designed to ensure that Sebha University graduates are fully prepared to work with modern healthcare technologies.
