Preparatory committee for Hijra workshop continues preparations and holds its second meeting

The preparatory committee for the “Hijra” workshop continues its preparations and holds its second meeting.

Chaired by Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Mahrez, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Cultural Relations at the university, the preparatory committee for the workshop of the “HGRA Migration” project, funded by the European Union, held a meeting on Monday (January 13, 2025) to follow up the final preparations for holding the upcoming workshop this month.

The meeting discussed technical and logistical aspects to ensure the success of the workshop, which aims to enhance academic cooperation and capacity building in the field of migration studies.

The workshop will witness the participation of prominent Libyan and European universities, reflecting the role of Sebha University in consolidating international partnerships and strengthening the academic presence in research and development projects
