الفساد عمومًا ظاهرة مركبة ومعقدة، تشمل الاختلالات التي تمس الجانب السياسي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي والقيمي والأخلاقي في المجتمع والذي يحتاج إلى تضافر الجهود لمعالجته والتخلص منه، ويبقى الفساد بشتى أطيافه أحد معاول الهدم التي تواجه عمليات التنمية الاقتصادية والسياسية والاجتماعية. وقضيه الفساد ليست وليدة اليوم أوالأمس القريب وإنما نتاج جملة من العوامل والأسباب التراكمية وباتت تشكل خطراً شديداً على كافه مؤسسات المجتمع ، لذا يجب دراسة ظاهرة الفساد وكيفية مواجهتها من خلال وسائط التربية المختلفة ووضع أولويات تربوية لمكافحتها. ومن هنا كانت الدراسة الحالية التي تهدف الي التعريف بمفهوم الفساد المجتمعي وتقصي الظاهرة وأسبابها والآثار المترتبة عليها ومن ثم بيان دور مؤسسات التربية في مكافحة هذه الظاهرة حتي يمكن مواجهتها والحد منها وربما القضاء عليها.
