About the Centre
The Centre was established in 2006 under the Ministry of Higher Education Decision No. 23 and became an official part of the university. Its foundation followed an agreement between the British Council and the former General People’s Committee for Higher Education and Scientific Research. Initially, the Centre enrolled a modest number of Sebha University students across a few classes. As student numbers grew and classes expanded, a new building (the current facility) was allocated to accommodate the increased demand. The Centre also introduced training programmes for faculty members, postgraduate students, and assistant lecturers.
