Tuning Africa Phase II

Tuning Africa Phase II is considered one of the most significant joint initiatives undertaken by the African Union and the European Union to modernize higher education across Africa. The project focused on curriculum reform through competency-based approaches and learning outcomes, while promoting quality assurance, academic recognition, and institutional cooperation among African universities.

Sebha University participated as one of the Libyan beneficiary institutions involved in the initiative’s activities and capacity-building programmes. This participation contributed to strengthening the University’s institutional and academic capacities and enhancing its engagement with regional and international networks dedicated to higher education development.

يُعدّ مشروع “موائمة/ أفريقيا – المرحلة الثانية” من أهم المبادرات المشتركة التي أطلقها الاتحاد الأفريقي والاتحاد الأوروبي لتحديث التعليم العالي في أفريقيا. ركّز المشروع على إصلاح المناهج الدراسية من خلال مناهج قائمة على الكفاءات ومخرجات التعلّم، مع تعزيز ضمان الجودة والاعتراف الأكاديمي والتعاون المؤسسي بين الجامعات الأفريقية.

شاركت جامعة سبها كإحدى المؤسسات الليبية المستفيدة في أنشطة المبادرة وبرامج بناء القدرات. وقد أسهمت هذه المشاركة في تعزيز القدرات المؤسسية والأكاديمية للجامعة، وتوسيع نطاق تفاعلها مع الشبكات الإقليمية والدولية المعنية بتطوير التعليم العالي.
