Internal and external reflections of the methods of managing Coronavirus crisis (Coved 19) in reducing its spread. «Between December 2019-June 2020»
Abstract
The pandemic is an unprecedented challenge and a threat to humanity that has never been seen, with its negative effects not only in health, but also in psychological, social, economic and political terms. The Corona Virus tests leaders' capabilities of both countries and cities in times of crisis. Hence, the current study aims to identify how the Corona crisis has been managed in different countries of the world, and the reflections of these methods for the internal and external situations of States. The descriptive approach is used to interpret and analyze data collected through the web using content analysis. The study concluded that, Countries that have experienced similar epidemics have gained experience in managing the crisis efficiently and effectively. The ways of managing the crisis between states each other did not differ greatly, and the only contrast was in the speed of response to the situation and the resources allocated to containing the epidemic, largely due to the political, social, and economic differences of peoples and their political leaders. The most important result was: the fundamental keys to managing the Corona crisis were: good understanding, appreciation and management, resource mobilization, rapid response, information availability, artificial intelligence, and efficient and effective communication systems. The study recommends that necessity to develop crisis management in government and organization structures to avoid risks, disasters and emergencies. Many countries in the world need a package of reforms in their logistics structure (educational, technological, health, economic, financial and regulatory). Finally, success in managing the crisis depends not only on controlling the epidemic, but also on recovering from its economic, social, security, and political consequences.
