Cultured of Leaves and Stems of Tragnum Nudatum In Vitro
Abstract
The leaves and stems of Tragnum nudatum were cultured on MS medium supplemented with different concentrations of 2,4-D, BA, and kin. When leaves were inoculated on MS+Kin (1 mg/l), high amounts of friable callus were obtained after 10 weeks. No responses were noticed on other treatments after 12 weeks. Those calluses were subcultured on the same medium; they showed increases in growth when compared with other treatments. In case of cultured stems, no responses were recorded in all combinations even after 12 weeks of culture.
