Introduction

The Department of Natural History, “Biology,” is a relatively recent department in the college, which opened after the Higher Institute for Teacher Preparation previously joined Sebha University in the year. 2005M in order to meet the urgent need for biology teachers in Arab secondary schools that suffer from the scarcity of educationally and scientifically qualified teachers in this important field.

The department includes about 24 university professors who hold postgraduate degrees, 12 of whom are studying cultural, educational and psychological subjects. It is headed by Dr. Muhammad Hassan Abkar. The department made its first payments in the academic year 2008/2009
