In deepening the brotherly relations between the Libyan and Chadian fraternal peoples that are deeply rooted in history, and in implementation of the scientific cooperation agreement signed between the two countries in 1998, and in support of the march of the Arabic language and the application of bilingualism in Chad,

The college is subject to the regulations in force governing the educational process in Libyan universities, and the curricula corresponding to those almost equal to it are taught. The college follows the academic year system, the duration of study is four years, during which the student gets a bachelor’s degree in science and education, and a bachelor’s degree in arts and education in the following disciplines: Mathematics, physics, chemistry, natural history (biology), philosophy and sociology, education and psychology.

In the year 2010 , the name of the Teachers College changed to the name of the College of Education and this became the official name of the college, which is the same name applied in Libyan universities.
