The department should be an accredited center for education, research and consulting.
Mission
Provide high-quality education and training to prepare scientifically qualified graduates and researchers with the latest information and practical and intellectual skills.
Department goals
- The Department of Food Science and Technology aims to develop the capabilities of learners to meet the community's need for various food specialties, whether in the field of food processing and preservation and human nutrition or food safety and quality, through theoretical and practical courses and curricula that are provided to students and that the department is keen to develop and continuously update.
- One of the tasks of this section is to qualify and prepare students at all levels to be able to follow-up and continue their educational achievement through graduate studies programs, scientific research or application in government and private factories.
This section also aims to serve the community by giving scientific advice to food factories, and by providing educational and educational consultations and lectures that contribute to spreading food culture among the community members, as well as by holding training courses, seminars, conferences and scientific exhibitions.
