مشروع تيمبوس ماجستير في إدارة الطاقة – MC-EnMa Project

The MC-EnMa project is one of the most prominent international academic cooperation projects in which Sebha University has participated. It successfully established and implemented a Master’s program in Energy Management within former Faculty of Energy and Mining Engineering, contributing to the development of the university’s academic and research capabilities and strengthening scientific cooperation with European institutions. It also provided a sustainable scientific foundation for developing national expertise in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency, thus supporting sustainable development efforts in Libya.

The project aimed to develop and implement an advanced academic program to award a Master’s degree in Energy Management within participating Libyan universities, according to modern European standards. This contributes to preparing national cadres specializing in energy management, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability, and supports the development of the higher education sector in Libya.

The project partners include seven academic institutions (three Libyan and four European).

University of Sebha was an official and active partner in the international project consortium and contributed to the various stages of implementing its activities and achieving its outcomes, alongside the participating Libyan and European universities. This is because the university was an official member of the project consortium, not merely a “beneficiary.”

يُعد مشروع تيمبوس ماجستير في إدارة الطاقة من أبرز مشاريع التعاون الأكاديمي الدولي التي شاركت فيها جامعة سبها، حيث نجح في تأسيس وتوطين برنامج الماجستير في إدارة الطاقة داخل كلية هندسة الطاقة والتعدين سابقاً، وأسهم في تطوير القدرات الأكاديمية والبحثية للجامعة وتعزيز التعاون العلمي مع المؤسسات الأوروبية. كما وفر أساساً علمياً مستداماً لتأهيل الكفاءات الوطنية في مجالات الطاقة المتجددة وكفاءة الطاقة، بما يدعم جهود التنمية المستدامة في ليبيا.
استهدف المشروع تطوير وتطبيق برنامج أكاديمي متقدم لمنح درجة الماجستير في إدارة الطاقة داخل الجامعات الليبية المشاركة، وفق المعايير الأوروبية الحديثة، بما يسهم في إعداد كوادر وطنية متخصصة في مجالات إدارة الطاقة وكفاءة الطاقة والطاقة المتجددة والاستدامة، ودعم تطوير قطاع التعليم العالي في ليبيا.
