Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Before submitting articles to Sebha Univeristy Journal, the authors are requested to carefully go through the guidelines as given below, Please note that papers submitted without following this style and format will not undergo review process, and will be returned to authors.

Article Types

Three types of manuscripts may be submitted: Regular articles, Short Communications, Reviews.Manuscript must be prepared single spaced and all pages numbered starting from the title page. The whole manuscript should be divided in to the following sections:

Title (concise)

Abstract (self-explanatory and brief not more than 250 words)

Keywords (3 to 6)

Introduction (two or three paragraphs about the research including the literature and objectives)

Materials and methods (complete enough to allow experiments to be reproduced)

Results (presented with clarity and precision)

Discussion (interpret the findings in view of the results obtained in this and in past studies on this topic)

Conclusions (just summary of the whole findings)

Acknowledgments (people, grants, funds, etc)

Tables (should be kept to a minimum and be designed to be as simple as possible)

Figure (should be prepared using JPEG file).

References

The references should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text by bracketed numbers [1], and provide a list of references at the end of the article in numerical order with square brackets around the numbers. Please use IEEE style for referencing.

Articles

The most common type of journal manuscript has been used to publish reports of data from research. It is called an Original Article or Original Research, Research Article, Research, or just Article. The articles submitted to JOPAS should include the full Introduction, Methods and Materials, Results and Discussion sections.

Review Paper

Usually, the review Article provides a comprehensive summary of research on a certain time and topic. 

Case Studies

The case study article is report specific instances of interesting phenomena. 

Methodologies or Methods

The Methodologies or Methods article is present a new experimental method, test or procedure as a completely new, or a better version of an existing method.

Short reports or Letters

The Short report or Letter papers is a communicate brief reports of data from original research that can be interesting to many researchers as a full Original Research manuscript or Brief communications.
