Personality pattern and its relationship to deviant behavior among students of the Faculty of Arts, Sebha University(Empirical Study)

Abstract
The current research aims to identify the personality pattern and its relationship to deviant behavior among students of the Faculty of Arts, Sebha University. The study sample consisted of (120) male and female students. The sample was randomly selected from (1500) male and female students, distributed into (5) sections out of (11) Department of the Faculty of Arts, and two tools were used to collect information: the personality type scale prepared by (Samer Jamil Radwan) and the deviant behavior questionnaire prepared by the two researchers; To analyze the data, the descriptive analytical method was used, and the study reached several results, which are the following:
There is a statistically significant relationship between personality style and deviant behavior among students of the Faculty of Arts, Sebha University.
There is a difference in the dimensions of personality type and deviant behavior with regard to personality type (equilibrium and emotion), and there are no differences in the following demographic variables (gender - academic specialization - Gregorian order - educational level of the father - educational level of the mother) that have no effect on personality patterns except the variable ( age) and it was clearly for ages ranging between (19-21) more influential in deviant behavior.
