Development and Protection of Libyan Banking Services using Electronic Application

Abstract

General commercial banks in Libya suffer from several problems, in terms of providing services to their customers, because most branches are not linked to their main centres, and even if they are linked suffer from some shortcomings. Linked branches got  problems due to a lack of technical and technical resources (systems - networks - communications – Devices and equipment), mismanagement, organization, and the inefficiency of employees. Mentioned problems causes disruption and loss of customers’ interests and transactions. Those problems have alienated customers to private banks in completing their transactions. Illegal,  unsecured alternatives transaction, such as financial transfers internally and  externally.


This paper intend to provide an ideal solution in developing the services introduced from public commercial banks in Libya lies in Appling electronic system, similar that used in an international banks. The introduced system considering regulations of Sebha's north africa bank as  sample of Libyan commercial banks, it provides three types of banking services as following:-



  1. Informatics services that provide to guests.

  2. Costumer Services that provided to registered and valid banking costumer(individual, company, …), as well services mentioned in a.

  3. Costumer communication and exchange services as well services mentioned in a and b.


The provided system uses a simulator program "packet trace" in designing the network, it secures costumer transactions from and to the bank for b and c using an integrated website and VPN, services will be grunted using an internet and mobile phone and that will help in speeding the process, and customers are allowed to make their transactions through the Internet or mobile phone, so it will save  time.


An experiment of applying the proposed system shows positive results, that will help in improving banking Libyan system as well in providing excellent services.
