The outcome of training courses for the Training and Development Center

Presentation of the Training and Development Center Sebha University a detailed report of the training courses completed since the beginning of the year 2020 AD. These courses varied between synchronous and asynchronous, using Google's meeting management applications. Which comes in line with the needs of the stage and the spread in the world for corona virus.

On the other hand, the report included a diversity of courses, with a greater focus on courses to raise the skills of researchers. As well as the use of modern technologies in scientific research. Where it included academic writing, whether in Arabic or English. The courses also included the aspect of upgrading the students' information system. Whether for the undergraduate or postgraduate studies at the university, as well as the related administrative and academic systems. The courses also covered health and safety in the work environment. As well as quality in higher education institutions.

It is noteworthy that the University of Sabha developed an urgent plan to continue the study and not stop due to the Krona pandemic. Where the Training and Development Center implemented courses for teaching methods from home using Google educational applications. Which was attended by more than 400 participants from Sabha University and abroad, which included:

• Google applications to manage the educational process
• University email
• Electronic exams
• As well as the application of Google Classroom (student interface) in order to assist the student in using this application.

It should be noted that Training and Development Center Sabha University is a center specialized in all its money related to training and capacity building. The center was established according to University Council Resolution No. (10) for the year 2016 AD. In order to connect the university with the local community by providing multiple training services. And by taking advantage of the scientific and material capabilities (laboratories - laboratories) available at the university. The university’s training and development center works to develop the capabilities of faculty members, laboratory technicians, and university employees. And that is through implementing training courses in various fields and disciplines, to meet the university's training needs in order to reach a better performance that helps achieve the university's goals. The university’s training and development center also works like any other university center, to be a link with the community. Which the university seeks, through achieving its goals, to contribute to its development, training, interaction with it, and the advancement of its personnel through setting up training programs that meet the needs of the labor market and society.
