About
يهتم القسم بدراسة التربة والمياه كأهم موردين من الموارد الطبيعية في العالم، وقد أفتتح في سنة 1989-1990ف، وتخرجت اول دفعة سنة 1994 ومازال القسم مستمر حتى اليوم. يهدف القسم إلى إعداد كوادر متخصصـــــــة فـــي مجالي ( التربة والمياه ) وذلك للمساهمة فــــــــي تنمية وتطوير الزراعة بصفة عامة وفي استصلاح وصيانة التربة والمياه ومكافحة التصحر بصفة خاصة، كما يهتم القسم بربط الجامعة بالمجتمع من خلال المساهمة في الأبحاث والاستشارات العلمية .
Vision
الارتقاء والتميز في علوم التربة والمياه وتطبيقاتها وذلك لإعداد وتخريج كوادر زراعية مؤهلة لسد احتياجات سوق العمل حتى يصبح القسم من الأقسام المتميزة على المحلي والإقليمي .

Preparing distinguished agricultural cadres in the field of soil and water and conducting applied studies and research to serve the community and develop the environment and are able to meet the needs of the local and regional labor market.
