College Strategic Plan
The development of a strategic plan for the College of Arts comes in the context of Sebha University's orientation towards establishing the scientific method for future planning of the aspirations and objectives of the college and its departments, and bringing about a comprehensive change that raises higher education and scientific research to global levels capable of facing current and future challenges. The most important strategic goals that the Department of Arabic Language and Literature seeks to achieve can be summarized as follows:
- Upgrading the academic level (scientific - practical - research) for the college students in the bachelor’s and graduate levels:
Reviewing and developing the graduate studies programs
Enhancing the scientific research skills of the college students - Development of scientific research in the college:
Establishing a library and a specialized scientific research information base
Promoting specialized scientific publishing for faculty members
Supporting the participation of faculty members in scientific conferences and meetings - Development and improvement of performance in the department:
Achieving and controlling quality
Developing and improving the educational outcomes of the college
Development of academic and administrative performance for faculty members
