The orientation towards leadership and its relation to the performance of the of small and medium-sized companies "applied study on Telecommunications Companies Operating in Benghazi"
Abstract
This study aims to find out the correlation between the orientation towards leadership and its relation to the performance of small-sized telecommunications companies operating in the city of Benghazi, as well as to identify the relationship between the dimensions of the orientation towards leadership (creativity, initiative, self-confidence, love of achievement, independence and responsibility, risk) and the performance of companies. The questionnaire was used to collect data. The number of participants (90) of the leadership in the higher, middle and executive departments was chosen randomly. The stability coefficient and descriptive statistics were calculated to identify the participants' attitudes as well as the explanatory statistics to determine the correlation between the variables of the study. The results of the study showed that there is a strong correlation between the direction of leadership and the performance of companies. It also showed that there is a correlation between the dimensions of the orientation towards leadership (creativity, initiative, self-confidence, love of achievement, independence, responsibility, risk and performance of profitability and competitiveness). In addition, it was shown that the love of achievement is the most important variable contributing to the orientation towards entrepreneurial work. The most important contribution to the direction of pioneering work, the emphasis should be on the dimensions of pioneering work and the orientation towards leadership, with a focus on the dimensions of the orientation towards leadership, especially the love of achievement.
