Assessment of the current situation of chemical pesticides traded in shops in Sirte – Libya
Abstract
Targeted study field survey to inventory the amount of various chemical use in two shops in the city of Sirte in December 2019, where it showed the results of the study of the Kinds of pesticides e.g. insecticides and fungicides and herbicides it four existence of 80 kinds of pesticides and insecticides and fungicides and weed it four and forty of pesticides, and twenty-seven of fungicides and Eleven from the sales of the weed where found by ( the 55, 11.25, and 13.75 % ) respectively when the knowledge of the sources imported from outside Libya studies show the presence of five agents of the suppliers only to pesticides and by ( 11.36 % ) and the number seven for sales fungal by ( 25.9 % ) And the number one suppliers for sales of weed and by ( 11.2 % ) while most sales are anonymous an did not follow world-class companies in manufacturing, the study recorded a rate of ( 2.27 % ) of the insecticides not know the period of waiting on the crops, and what rate of ( 11.2 % ) of fungicides while sales of herbal a period of security, and when you know the degree of the toxicity on the step based spraying operations or when ingested with the vegetables and crops of different it varied from serious to moderate severity to mild and weak toxicity where insecticides serious medium toxicity by ( 70.46, the 27.27 % ) Respectively, and (7 2. 2 % ) non-specific degree named in the poster of their paper, while the amount of fungal serious, medium, weak and light toxicity by ( 77.8 , 11.2 , 3.6 , 7.40 % ) respectively as the exchange condition of its physical properties and the duration of validity between the different types were recorded to study the existence of sales to another while varied as a proportion of the extent of their legitimacy to trade in Libya or not, and all the shops was close to shops selling food and dreams residential.
