Abstract
تناقش هذه الدراسة التوجهات السوفيتية تجاه المنطقة العربية وبالتحديد مع الدول العربية التي كانت تشكل محور اهتمام لدى القوى العظمى في منتصف القرن الماضي (مرحلة الحرب الباردة) وبالتحديد (مصر-العراق-سوريا). وتلقي هذه الدراسة الضوء على مدى التعاون الاستراتيجي والاقتصادي بين الدول سالفة الذكر والاتحاد السوفيتي, وماهي الدوافع وراء هذا التعاون المشترك. وبشيء من التفصيل تتعمق هذه الدراسة في البحث عن أسباب التوجهات السوفيتية نحو هذه الدول بعد وفاة الزعيم السوفيتي ستالين، ما هي مرتكزات السياسة السوفيتية تجاه الشرق الأوسط؟، لماذا حصل هذا التغير في السياسة السوفيتية تجاه دول العالم الثالث بعد وفاة ستالين؟، وكذلك ماهي الأسباب التي دفعت كل من مصر والعراق وسوريا وفيما بعد ليبيا لبناء تعاون استراتيجي واقتصادي مع الاتحاد السوفيتي خلال الفترة المذكورة.
