Abstract
يتناول البحث منهج الإمام محمد عبدو في بيانه وشرحه لعقيدة التوحيد وتقريرها، ويقف على موارده العقلية و الفكرية، فتناول التوحيد قبل وبعد علم الكلام ليثبت أخذ الإمام بما يؤيده العقل ويقره من وجهه النظر الإسلامية, ونبذه الجمود والتقليد بترديد عبارات السابقيين دون فحص أو مناقشة , فقد عرض فى رسالة التوحيد خلاصة الفكر الإنسانى فى البحث عن الله وتوحيده ، فبينما كان هم الفلاسفة التعريفات والتأليف بين التصورات ووضع المجردات الذهنية ،كان هم الإمام بيان عقيدة التوحيد بشكل عقلى بديهي وفكر حر متفتح ، جعل من المحطات التى وقفت عندها البشرية جمعاء واتفق عليها العقلاء من كل عصر مصدراً يعول عليه ويستقى منه علم اليقين فاطلع على كل الاتجاهات الفكرية والمذهبية المتباينة التي ظهرت في ساحة الفكر الإسلامي , إلا أنه تخطاها وجعلها رافداً من روافده فاستعان بكل أدوات النظر المختلفة مادام يقبله العقل ومادام يعين على الكشف عن الحقيقة وتفسيرها وتوصيلها فجمع بين النافع والممتع بما يشبع نفس الإنسان وعقله، ويشد روحه إلى آفاق ومعالم القدسية والجلال، عالم السر وأخفى.
