The Journal of Medical Sciences (JOMS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Sebha University, Libya. Its editorial policies follow the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing issued jointly by COPE, DOAJ, OASPA and WAME, the COPE Core Practices, and the ICMJE Recommendations.

These policies apply to all authors, reviewers, editors and staff of JOMS, and to every article type the journal publishes. They are reviewed annually by the Editorial Board.
