Abstract
The study dealt with the definition of the public utilities concession contract as an administrative contract between one public legal person and private law persons (individuals or companies), under which the latter undertakes to undertake, at his expense and under his responsibility, the management and management of a public facility under the supervision and direction of the administration authority, in accordance with the agreed conditions in exchange for allowing him By exploiting the facility for a specific period of time, and the profit is the financial consideration paid by the beneficiaries of the services provided by the concessionary public facility. The concession contract is one of the administrative contracts made under a special law that defines the subject of the concession contract, given its importance, and it may not be granted except by law. The public utilities concession contract is also distinguished by a set of characteristics that distinguish it from other administrative contracts, the most important of which is: It is one of the long-term contracts, where the duration of the contract reaches ninety years.
