Abstract

This study aims to explore the attitudes of faculty members at Libyan universities toward employing e-learning in the cases of emergency and crises. It also aims to examine to what extent differences in attitudes of faculty members are attributed to (gender, qualification, scientific degree, work experience, and teaching area). A total of (190) faculty members at Libyan universities were surveyed using an online questionnaire. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the collected data. The results of this  study indicated that the overall attitude of faculty members at Libyan universities was high; indicating that e-learning can be successfully applied in the cases of emergency and crises. The results also revealed that attitudes of faculty members do not differ based on the personal and functional factors.
