Faculty of Commerce and Political Science

Sebha University is the largest university in southern Libya, located in Sebha, the largest city in the region, just a few kilometres from Sebha International Airport. The university was initially established as the Faculty of Education – Sebha Branch in 1976, affiliated with the University of Tripoli. In early 1983, Decision No. 187 of 1983 was issued by the former General People's Committee, founding Sebha University as an independent institution to serve the municipalities of southern Libya.
