Mission

To provide high-quality educational and training approaches tailored to individuals with special educational needs at the university, enabling them to contribute effectively to the development of a knowledge-based society. This mission is pursued through a supportive and empowering academic environment that promotes full inclusion.

Objectives:

To empower individuals with special educational needs including staff and academic members by guaranteeing their rights and reinforcing their role within the university and wider society.
To provide appropriate educational resources and tools that enhance the academic and professional capabilities of students with special educational needs.
To develop and regularly assess educational and training programmes designed for students with special needs, ensuring continuous improvement and effective delivery.
To train academic and administrative staff in the skills required to support and work effectively with students with special educational needs, fostering a culture of inclusion.
To raise awareness across the university community about how to engage positively and respectfully with students with special educational needs, through seminars, workshops, and outreach activities.
To implement counselling and psychological support programmes for students with special needs and their families, promoting emotional well-being and social integration.
To establish strong communication and cooperation channels with national and regional institutions concerned with special education, in order to share expertise and adopt best practices in inclusive education.
