About the conference:

For the purpose of contributing to establishing the foundations of scientific research within academic institutions and research centers in Libya, specifically, and in neighboring countries in general, and to encourage researchers to present their scientific and research output.

Sebha University is pleased to organize the Third International Conference on Science and Technology at the Faculty of Information Technology in Sebha city, during the period from September 2nd to 3rd, 2020.

The conference will address four main axes, namely: Information Technology and Computer Science axis, Basic and Applied Sciences axis, Engineering Sciences axis, and finally, Technological Sciences axis.

Sebha University stands as the preeminent educational institution in southern Libya, with its main campus located in the vibrant city of Sebha. Situated just a few kilometers from Sebha International Airport, it holds a central position in the region. The university's origins trace back to the establishment of the College of Education - Sebha Branch in 1976 AD, initially affiliated with the University of Tripoli. However, a pivotal moment occurred in early 1983 AD with the issuance of Resolution No. 187 of 1983 AD by the former General People’s Committee. This resolution marked the official establishment of Sebha University as an independent academic institution, dedicated to serving the educational needs of the municipalities in southern Libya.
