Sebha University organizes a scientific symposium on the reality and challenges of pulmonary tuberculosis

– As part of its commitment to support scientific research and promote health awareness to face environmental and societal challenges, Sebha University organized a scientific seminar entitled (Pulmonary Tuberculosis: reality, causes, prevention and treatment, the role of state institutions)
on Wednesday (29-4-2026 AD) at 10:00 am in the amphitheater of the Language Center, in the presence of the President of the University, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, the General Secretary, the Vice President of the Municipal Council and a number of specialists, researchers, faculty members, university staff and students, as well as those interested in health and environmental affairs.

– The symposium opened with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem, then the opening speeches followed according to the plan set by the Supreme Preparatory Committee supervising the event, which emphasized the importance of integrating the roles between the university and the concerned state institutions to reduce the risks.

– It is worth mentioning that this seminar aims to shed light on the most prominent health issues related to tuberculosis and discuss the environmental and social implications of its spread, in an effort to build effective strategies that ensure the protection of society and enhance the role of institutions that guarantee public health and a renewed environment.
