Implementation of the “Computer and Internet Skills” course for university employees
Reflecting the university’s vision to develop administrative cadres and keep pace with technical development, a specialized training course entitled “Computer and Internet Skills” was launched in the training hall of the Training and Development Center. This course comes within the implementation of the approved training plan for the year 2026.
The course content is supervised by a group of experienced university engineers:

The training program is designed to empower employees with the basic and necessary tools in the modern digital work environment, as the sessions cover the following topics:
– Technology Basics: A comprehensive introduction to the concepts of information technology and mastery of the Windows operating system.
– Administrative editing: Advanced skills in MS Word word processing program to ensure accuracy and speed of correspondence.
– Data and statistics: Using MS Excel spreadsheet software to organize data and calculations.
– Digital literacy: A comprehensive introduction to the use of the Internet and the effective and safe search for information.
The course targets a group of university employees nominated by the Human Resources Development Office to ensure raising the efficiency of work in various departments.
Course Dates:
– Duration: From April 26, 2026 to May 7, 2026.
– Timing: Daily from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
This training initiative emphasizes Sebha University’s ongoing commitment to investing in the human element, as it is the main pillar for improving administrative and service performance within the educational institution.
