The University of Sebha announces the start of preparations to organize the first international conference on “Transnational Organized Crime”.

– In a step aimed at strengthening regional security and facing legal challenges, the scientific committee of the first joint international conference of the Faculty of Law at Sebha University held on Thursday morning (30-04-2026)
Its first preparatory meeting to discuss the arrangements for the launch of the conference scheduled to be held on (21-12-2026 AD) under the slogan : A Shared Vision for Sustainable Regional Security.

– The meeting included a number of academics and international experts, and was chaired by the head of the scientific committee, in the presence of the heads of the preparatory, technical and media committees of the conference.

– The meeting session reflected the international dimension of the conference with the participation of a number of academics from the scientific committee of the conference, where discussion and dialogue took place regarding the adoption of the final themes of the conference, which will address transnational organized crime in the Sahel-Saharan countries from legal, security and economic dimensions, while emphasizing the importance of formulating a common legal policy that responds to the requirements of the current stage.

– It is noteworthy that the activities of the conference will be held – God willing – at the University Campus of Sebha University in Sebha city during the month of December of this year (2026 AD).
