About the Conference

To contribute to establishing the foundations of scientific research within academic institutions and research centers in Libya and globally, and to encourage researchers to showcase their scientific contributions, Sebha University is proud to host the Fifth International Conference on Science and Technology. The conference will be held in the university’s conference hall from October 3 to 4, 2022. The conference will cover five key areas:

Information Technology and Computer Science
Basic and Applied Sciences
Engineering Sciences
Technical Sciences
Economic and Political Sciences
Medical Sciences

Conference Objectives

To provide researchers at the university and others in the field of science and technology the opportunity to meet, engage in dialogue, and exchange knowledge, experiences, and research on various scientific topics.
To enhance the role of science in serving society by finding solutions to its problems and meeting its needs, through strengthening the relationship between higher education institutions, industrial and commercial sectors, and fostering connections with scientific and technical institutions, organizations, and research centers locally and internationally.
To evaluate challenges faced by different sectors and propose scientific solutions, utilizing research results in basic and technical sciences, and making them accessible to researchers, students, and executive bodies in the country.
To analyze natural phenomena, discover resources, and harness them to improve products, increase production capacity in economic and industrial sectors, and address critical environmental, health, and service-related issues, contributing to the provision of appropriate scientific solutions.
